Title: DPF Cleaner query....
Post by: MickyFinn on December 17, 2016, 12:12:24 pm
Hi

Can anyone advise if it is worth using a diesel particulate filter cleaner, such as Wynn's Cleaner, although there are loads of other brands on the market.
I have really great CX-5 diesel, but due to personal circumstances, I have only been doing fairly short journeys - more suitable for a petrol. Nevertheless, I have no wish to change my car at the present time.
I have been told that using such a cleaner will definitely help to keep the DPF from clogging up, thus reducing the risk of having to replace it - and they don't come cheap!
Any advice would be much appreciated.
