Auto Boot opening occasional fail

Wonder if anyone has had this issue with the electric boot feature?

On two occasions, and outside 1 particular store I've found that when pressing
the boot open button, the blinkers flash, but the boot flap doesn't move.

The only was I can correct is to open the car and start the engine; flap then works :D
I assume this may be some sort of electrical interference, but strangely only
affects boot.
