This is a definite and not just my imagination. :D
I have a folding garage door that slides above the car from a rail holding the drive belt.
New car now impacts on the rail, previously the boot was around 10mm below, so I've had to add some self adhesive draught excluder as padding.
-
Hadn't noticed that. Mind you, at 6ft 5in, I've never had a car where I didn't bang my head on the rear hatch when open ::)

Never owned the previous model so can't make comparisons but yes, the tailgate does open up quite high and I've had to stick some polystyrene board to the garage roof above where the tailgate makes contact.
-
If you think it is snowing in the garage one day it means you opened the boot a bit sudden :D
-
Funny you should say that as it's snowing here at this moment in time, the wind has also got up and blowing that 'orrible stuff into the garage. On a more serious note - I lift the tailgate very slowly because the actual point of contact with the polystyrene is the rear wiper so I don't want to go breaking that off. :-\
-
I will confirm this once I've got both cars side by side and take measurements post results, did notice in showroom the boot light has moved
-
I don't think you will see much difference, I realised afterwards that it was fouling after I had all the wheels off!
So after use the car has settled. ::)

Only had one cx-5 before this one, and used mainly mazdas247.
