Paint spatter removal
« on: June 02, 2020, 11:20:26 am »
Hi, my CX-5 (soul red) has some paint spatters on the bonnet and wing from neighbour painting their garage. Very very small splashes, but quite a few. They scrape off with a fingernail, but is there something I can use to clean it off more effectively without damaging the paint finish?

With the very fragile paint finish of the soul red version (mine also has lots of tiny chips) I would take it to the dealer and bill your neighbour.. I would not risk using any product.

I would be furious with my neighbour if they did that to mine. They could have at least warned you that they were painting so you could either move your car or give you a chance to cover it. >:( >:(
The internet is a huge dumpster. You have to look hard to find anything useful.
