Title: Black and blue
Post by: twabrigs on July 30, 2014, 03:32:55 pm
All the official Mazda photos of the CX5 engine seems to feature the gorgeous blue engine cover. Why is mine black? I'm sure the answer is obvious (blue is petrol only, or 150PS only or something)

My diesel has a blue cover, although after 41k miles, I wouldn't describe it as gorgeous...

Very droll replies, thanks guys..!

I saw a comment on an American site that someone had a black cover and blue was 'last year' ie. 2013.

Anyway, no big deal but just wondered where these mysterious blue engines are that feature so prominently in Mazda's advertising..!

The Americans may be right.
My 2013 SEL Nav petrol had the blue cover , however I changed to Sport Nav petrol in May this year and was disappointed to see it was the boring black colour :(
