After market brake discs
« on: February 24, 2023, 08:46:38 am »
Hi guys,
Just throwing it out there to see if anyone has advice on alternative brake discs and pads.
I've noticed that the discs on my CX-5 are getting to that stage again of uneven wear and corrosion especially the rears. The car is due a service soon and no doubt the recommendation will be replacing the rears(again). This has been a regular thing over the 5½ years we've had the car and wondered if anyone out there has dabbled with changing to higher quality discs and pads instead of the OEM/Compatible ones. I was figuring that it may work out cost effective to spend on top quality rather than having everything more or less replaced every other service or MOT.
Thanks
