All the above tow with the auto and would give you their opinions I'm sure using the sites PM service.
I will report back but it could be as late as end of April depending on the weather, I don't do cold caravanning if I can help it, although we once woke up on site in April with 4" of snow on site!

I towed with a witter detachable on the last cx-5 hitch was very slightly nose down, perfect I would say. I've just fitted it to the auto so I'll be surprised it its any different. I would be fitting a fixed swan though if I was buying again, the detachable is inconvenient IMO.

One thing I'll throw in having gone through some long night drives. The adaptive LED lighting system is brilliant (no pun intended) - better than the steering bi-xenon system on the MK1 model, IMHO. Being able to just let it do its own thing takes a bit of getting used to - I was panicking when the blue main beam indicator was coming on unexpectedly (with traffic in front), but no-one has flashed me yet!
