I use Bluetooth 99% of the time from my phone.
I have TA set to announce but it never has ever ?
Can't see anything about it in the manual?

As far as I know, TA only works when the radio is used, not Bluetooth or USB.

Well that's pretty useless then......
Even my old Audi would interrupt other sources....

It only cost less than £100 for 3 years live traffic, isn't that a better option?
Historical traffic is free.

I was never offered this ?
Is that a UK option?

I'm assuming its available to me when I get the new car, let me know if its not.

If was only around £99 last I checked, apparently it varies with the exchange rate.

Pretty sure you get live traffic etc.. but you have to use your phone as a wifi hotspot to connect to it.
I just wanted Traffic Alerts while listening to bluetooth.

At around £33 a year I'll be going for it, paying for traffic is irritating but the system if its like TT live services is updated something like every 10 minuets so is highly rated. Both Xtrails I had used TMC I thing it was included with the nav.
Yes the Mazda system does use phone data but I have a contract phone and never get near the limit, from what I've read the data used is only around 30gb a month, so not an issue for me.
I'll also be taking out the £300 3 years 3 services package which will pay for the live services anyway with the savings.
With my present car first service was £180, second around £220, and 3rd service I've not had but assume £180?? And that's at the old prices with out any increase.
