Title: Instruments illumination
Post by: Jackerello on October 08, 2016, 09:19:41 am
I've noticed the dash illumination is really bright in the dark, is there any way of turning it down?

There's a rotary control at the top of the instrument binnacle, to the right.

...and you need the lights switched on for it to work.

If the rotary switch (the one used to reset trip data etc) is rotated fully to the right i.e. brightest illumination of the instrument panel then this overrides the automatic sensor. Turn the knob slightly in an anti-clockwise direction until the illumination is to your suiting for daytime visibility which also has the function of setting the lighting to automatic. When the sensor detects it's night time the illumination, including the illumination of that big screen in the middle, will dim automatically.
