Hello so I am aware of the camshaft and turbo issues with the 2.2 diesel engine but I'm just wondering what year vehicles the problems affect? I am looking at buying a 2.2 173bhp from 2015 and I don't want to risk it if this could happen to it because it sounds like it's extremely common and extremely pricey.

The soft camshaft issue was on 2012/3 cars with VIN number starting with JMZKE and include all numbers up 163230. That issue shouldn't affect a 2015 car.
