Hi, new to the CX-5, having picked up my 1st just last week. Can get the satnav to warn of my approaching a speed camera by voice, but not with just a warning beep. The manual clearly says you can set it to just warn with a beep - any ideas please how to do this. Have tried numerous settings and been back to the dealer, who also couldn't get the system to just beep. Cheers - btw, love the car after having driven Qashqai's for 7 years, but think the Nissan satnav beats the Mazda hands-down.

Not sure of this, but you can set it to warn you that you're over the speed limit. Great fun setting it when the wife is driving but switching it off for me. Took her a few days to cotton on :-)

That voice warning for speed cameras is VERY irritating. Turned mine off, just using the visual warning plus paying attention to the road. The old TomTom system could just be set to beep only - another failing of the MZD system, unfortunately.

Raptorash,
I have the same problem.
Beep set to "ON" whenever driving too fast or with a camera ahead.
However, no beep sounds.....
Who can help?

No answers?
I understand that in some regions this feature is disabled?

works fine in my pre-facelift model but can't comment on the new one

I get a verbal warning but no beep, even though i believe its selected.
I'm happy with the verbal warning however.

My verbal warning tends to be retrospective and goes something like 'Dad, wasn't that a speed camera?'...
