Title: Steering Column rattle
Post by: p38cyq on May 05, 2016, 09:35:32 am
When driving on rough surfaces I experience a rattle from the steering column (actually the housing around it).

Put some felt between the steering column and the upper part of the housing which helped some.

But there is still a rattling sound coming from the left underside; pushing on it removes the noise.

Any thoughts?

There were a couple of earlier TSB's for rattle's in this area, might be a good starting point.

Thanks for the info.

- Already tried the first TSB (see my mail felt applied)
- Second TSB was implemented ex-factory.

The steering column still rattles....
