I have a problem with my torbo. I have the CX5 KE 2014 150 hp with the Garret two stage turbo.
First stage doesn’t work.
According to the live data stream, the wastegate a is about 50% open from idle to 2500rpm. From 2500 then the turbo boost starts again.
And the wastgate supplies variable values up to 90 %
I'm now wondering if the small turbo doesn't get boost pressure due to the open wastegate A. Or is it controlled differently?
If not, I'd like to review the Wastgate Actuator. I noticed that the rod is loose. But I don't know if it should be rigid when the engine is off. Does anyone know if the wastgate is preloaded or how the correct pressure setting is? Unfortunately I didn't find anything on Garret's website or on the internet.
