2012 CX-5 - Rear control arms heavily corroded

Just posting for information.

My CX-5 failed its MOT yesterday as the rear control arms are heavily corroded. Cost to replace will be £800 odd.

I changed my rear discs a few months ago and did note a lot of rust on the suspension. Cleaned it up and sprayed with Hammerite.
Must check again soon.
