Underfloor boot space
« on: April 15, 2016, 05:18:05 am »
Can anyone tell me what was included with their car in the underfloor boot space please?  Was there a jack and a brace for certain fixings that I daren’t mention the name of in case the post gets moved.

2016 car has no jack, but a space for a space saver, but you need to buy the poly surround to house it.

Thanks xtm, that's what mine has but the manual shows a jack. I was wondering if something was missing. I was also wondering whether anyone carries a full size spare but I'll ask it elsewhere to avoid covering two subjects in one sentence.

I carry a full size spare but you need to pack up the boot floor by around 50mm to clear it.
I use 50mm builder foam/isulation.

when i bought the polysurround i believe the jack was then included along with the wheel clamp/securing bolt.
I retain the jack and poly surround from my 2013 car, the jack is definatly not provided with my 2015 car. But oddly the lever bar, part of the jack handle was.

Interesting. The Jack handle is the lever they provide to pop out the towing eye covers.
