Led headlight assembly replacement
« on: April 23, 2017, 02:04:33 pm »
Hi All, new to the forum and first post, hopefully someone is able to offer advice or information.
I have. 2016 CX5 Sport Nav with the LED lights, facelift model. While driving down to Devon last week I hit a pigeon which broken the plastic screen on the headlight, a 5 inch piece of plastic now missing.
I thought it would be easy to change the headlight, which it is, now off the car, however and this is where I need some advice, information or a boost to the bank balance. No one does any replacement plastic cover and phoning Mazda for a new headlight unit was quoted £883.74.
Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions or anywhere that does OEM parts at reasonable prices.
Thanks, fingers crossed!

Don't you have any windscreen insurance? Headlight stuff usually falls within this category - well certainly with mine it does.
