Sat Nav not saving favourites
« on: February 21, 2017, 01:10:31 pm »
Hi

Having acquired our 2012 CX-5 Sport Nav back in November I thought I had managed to save a favourite on the sat nav.  I have then tried to do it in the last couple of weeks and it doesn't save it having plugged through the system.  I'm reasonably sure I'm attempting to do it correctly.

I've not seen much else on this, possibly doing the following might work:

Any ideas?

I'm not massively concerned but would be nice to get it working.

Thank you!

Finally decided to have a look at the SD card on my computer.

Issue appears to now be resolved by following part of the instructions on the above link.

So all I did was delete the LOOKDIR folder from the SD card and then put it back in the car.

Nice and easy in the end!  As a precaution I didn't delete the folder but moved it off the SD card to the load back on if I broke the whole system.

Anyway, might be useful for anyone with the same issue.

See my post i put up recently around updating the Nav card. I found mine was too full so it didnt have space to save settings or favorites. I bought a bigger SD card for £9 and copied the files over, now works much faster and save as many favorites as i want
