Infotainment - Sat Nav
« on: November 23, 2013, 11:13:33 pm »
Firstly many thanks for setting up a dedicated CX5 forum in UK!

Is anyone else having issues with their integrated sat nav freezing for period of time during a planned route, it's driving me nuts!!?

I've had the issue since new, it's been to dealer one already for a software update which made no difference whatsoever and this week I've escalated the issue to Mazda UK to try to resolve.

What would be got to know is if it's just my car...in which case it's likely it can be fixed, or if it's more widespread in which case I've got a suspicion Mazda may blame TomTom who will I guess in turn blame the head unit manufacturer...

Any thoughts welcome  :)

no problems with mine but don't use it often, I can remember reading about it in uk weekly car magazine, cant remember which one where they run the vehicle for a few months and report any issues, it did mention problems with sat nav.
