Servicing schedule
« on: February 24, 2021, 08:32:44 pm »
Hi all
I am after some advice re servicing.
I have had my car for just 12 months and is was pre sale serviced before purchase.
The car has done only 900miles in 12 months and 83000 in total.
Mazda and dealer say it is now due its 8th service(12months or 93000 miles ) despite the low mileage since last one.
Should I stick with Mazda or leave it a bit then have a full service elsewhere.
Thanks in advance for any help.

The choice is yours at the end of the day, have you had a quote for the service? You should be informed prior to service by a mazda dealer, well a good one. Also if you have your book look see what gets done at that service interval compared to your last one ( if not ask them ).Then weigh up whats best for your car or your wallet.  Im a petrol head so i,ll leave it to the diesel owners to give their point of view because i believe its very important you hear from them. Im due a service next month but low mileage like yourself although ive done 5.5 k mazda allow the service to be pushed back up to a month.  My car is 11 months old so still in warrenty.
