change cabin air filter
« on: June 06, 2022, 09:55:37 pm »
Hi, just bought a 3-year-old CX-5 last month.

Just wondering is it possible to change the cabin air filter by myself?

Checked Amazon, seems the quality of the air filters is not very good. Any place/brand that I can search for a decent air filter?

Easy job, it's behind the glove box. Drop that down, remove the catch on the LH side, then drop the glove box assembly away. Cabin air filter slot is behind that. IIRC, the Mazda filters aren't expensive?

You can hoover the dirty face of the existing one first and see if that helps?
