Any comments on this new model?

Would like to purchase my 3rd CX-5, but my dealer told me:
- delivery not before october 2022;
- and if delivered, it will be minus some accessories (Bose speakers etc.), would be built-in later on?

Sounds about right. Just had my 5th one, ordered October delivered end of Feb but that was one already in the factory build schedule. Factory orders were looking like 6 months at the time.

There is a severe shortage on the Bose systems, caused by the worldwide semi-conductor shortage. I believe that's why they bought out the "Newground" mode without the Bose. In fact, having just checked, the Bose is currently only listed as standard on GT Sport models.

Well, we take delivery of our first petrol engined CX5 sport automatic after 4 years of good service from our diesel engined CX5 automatic ‘Bussy’ As Mrs C. Is retired the mileage has gone down a lot. So it makes sense to go Petrol. Don’t even consider electric as having done 2000 miles going up to, around. And back home in a week to Scotland at an average 56.8 mpg. Electric would suck…..big time.
Reason for this blurb is Mrs C. went on the CX5 Facebook forum and the garbage advice given by some on there marks them out as complete idiots and I’d never buy a second hand model of anything they’d driven.
