Auto Hold
« on: January 18, 2021, 05:13:19 pm »
Hi. Is there anyway of setting the Auto Hold to be ON every time I start the engine at the moment it will not engage until the electronic hand brake is turned off.
Motorcycles are my favourite form of transport but CX-5 is smooth.

Thanks for the reply.  It's shame as it's seems the only thing I'm not happy about.

My main ride is an XV1900 Midnightstar which we tour on, I'm into old jap stuff RD' & XS's as well and like to fix them up.

How long have you had the Triumph?

Cool, thats a yam right? I met up with folks with one at a ice cream parlour other side of doncaster few years ago. Ive had tiger a couple of years, had a fazer fz1s before that, but wife needed more comfort, ive started to press button every time on start up now once ive dont it a dozen times it will become habit.

I'm trying to remember to hit the button as I drive off.

A mate had a Tiger he loved it apart from the headlight, he said Triumph uprated it on later models which was better.

I think the 19 Star will be my last new bike as it does everything I need. I've just fitted an LED headlight as the oem was poor, it was not cheap but wicked bright

It seems we both have a 2L Manual nice to drive arn't they?

I think someone managed this by stuffing a piece of folded paper down the side of the Auto Hold button. A bit Heath Robinson but it may work for you  :)
