Not sure what they mean by "photo realistic" but the MZD system (2015 models onwards) displays a background of trees and/or buildings on the lane assist at junctions and helpfully switches to silhouettes and a starry sky at night
. I don't remember this happening on the TomTom version (2012-15 models), but could be wrong. I'm not sure whether it would even be a good idea - assuming it could somehow use the latest images from Google Streetview they could still be years out of date, so I'm not sure how much use it would be . Could potentially be more of a distraction?
