The entertainment (music) system
« on: January 26, 2016, 01:44:16 pm »
One minor improvement I'd like would be the function to switch between FM/DAB/MP3 etc using the steering wheel column controls.

I had this on a Ford S-Max, this had a mode switch on the column stalk, and I tend to miss it on the CX -  as using the commander can affect concentration at times.

Just a small detail, but one Mazda could think about perhaps.

Many thanks, you're right!  I can call the USB from radio mode using the voice command, but unfortunately the reverse doesn't seem possible without first calling the entertainment menu.

Never used the voice commands before, so will need to investigate further.

I've just discovered the voice commands, quite by accident driving along I sometimes catch the phone pick up button on the steering wheel with my finger, then heard it say 'options are call etc etc' so decided to play along and ended up calling my partner using it. Havent used it for the radio etc.
Problem is, you could end up sitting in the car all day long playing with the gadgets.
