Hi,

I'm new to Mazda and CX-5. With the iStop it often cuts the engine when I arrive at destination before I myself turn off the ignition.

Is it OK in this case to then (while iStop active) just turn off the ignition and leave the car, or is it better to depress clutch to restart the engine and then turn off ignition whilst the engine is running normally?

Thanks

No problem with doing that, I've done it frequently. Just not recently as my istop currently isn't...

Thats right no problem, I have been doing that for over a year. But lots of us find that istop is rather hit and miss.

It works every 3rd Thursday, as long as there is an R in the month.
