Radio : 2.2 SE-L Lux Nav
« on: December 13, 2014, 10:01:09 am »
Initially the pre-sets on the radio in FM1 read Radio1, 2, 3, 4 + 2 local stations.  Having used the tune button whilst in the Radio 2 pre-set to tune from 88.4 to 89.1, the information now only shows 88.4, where has the wording Radio 2 gone :(?  Any ideas as to how I can programme once again the pre-sets to read Radio 2 etc.

I'm afraid the radio stations just disappear and reappear at will, there's no logic to it, it's got to be the most odd set up I've ever had, most annoying when you want to switch to a particular channel that you know should be available, but is not showing on the touch screen.. :-[

Seems to be a common setup on new cars.
It constantly scans the FM stations available and lists them by their RDS identities. Around London this is quite a long list.

One annoying feature is that the station at the top of the list is highlighted, not what you are listening to.

On a long journey the list usually updates, but sometimes not, and the list ends up empty.

Eventually it all wakes up again.

Roll on DAB, as the station list should not change so much.

Bluetooth and the phone setup are other stories!
