I've had the heater flushed because it was blowing cold air,now it's done it blows out warm air,but not hot,
does anyone know how hot it should be when on a high setting?

The answer is too hot at 29 , I had my heater changed out under warranty due to mechanical blockage ( 2012 model ), was blowing cool drivers side and misting up windscreen. Is there a difference in temperature between drivers and passengers side?

Thanks for the reply, there doesn't seem to be any difference between passenger and drivers side,
as I said it was flushed out under warranty, they said it was fixed and tested, but from 22 to 29 there's no
increase in heat just warm air.

Difficult question to answer, but I wouldn't expect to feel any difference in the air coming out of the vents if the temp setting was changed between those two values. The heater (any heater in fact) can only output heat at a certain rate. What the climate control system in auto mode will do is monitor the temperature inside the car and divert the available heat to make best use of it. Once the selected temperature is reached, the system fans slow down to maintain that temperature. Think of it like a central heating system. The boiler output water is at a constant heat, the thermostat or TRV's slow down or shut off the flow when the desired room temperature is reached.
