Auto door lock

Before the 2018 + models, who has the auto door lock on their car? I thought it was on most models, apart from mine of course, but Im being told its new to Mazda. Cant believe that, its standard in most newish cars that Ive driven.

It wasn't fitted prior to the 2018 models, i get the impression that they got fed up with everyone nagging them about it! It's still odd though as it locks all the doors when you move off but only unlocks the fronts when you stop. Rear passengers can't get out unless they move the rocker switch in the door catch first  - that's with the kiddie locks disengaged, of course.
