Amber flashing start stop button on GT Sport Nav+

What does this mean? Changed both key fob batteries, so no problem there. Start stop keeps flashing amber all the time the engine is running

Things to check.

1. Do your main batteries,  primary and stop/start, (not fob)  have adequate charge.
2. If not I suspect either a dead cell OR  your alternator is not passing sufficient charge to the batteries.

Does this happen more when driving with headlights ?

It’s constant flashing amber, irrelevant day or night.
I have noticed that when i switch the car off in “park”, the amber flashes EVERY TIME i put my foot on the brake pedal.

I did see that video, however, when i got in the car 30 August, the amber light in the start button had gone, and the green light was there as it should be, and it was as if the car had diagnosed/cured itself of the problem??
Maybe it’s an intermittent problem?
