Well, it had to happen eventually...
« on: September 16, 2015, 08:49:45 pm »
2400 miles on the clock and some dozy twonk hits my OSR door with theirs.  >:( Happened at a customers in Park Royal. Think I know which car, but can't prove it obviously. Then I compound it a day later by trying to load a 44kg pallet of steel into the boot on my own and catching the rear bumper in the process.  :( They aren't new for long, are they?  ::)

Caught the LH side of the front bumper this morning on a low fence as well. Three in one week, unbelievable!

Well, sad news, but lets look on the bright side, they say things happen in 3's  (Not Mazda3's by the way).  Hopefully you will be clear of "incidents" for a while.

Had mine for six weeks when a stone was flicked up by a passing car. Nice one inch chip on the top of the nearside wing. Touch up paint applied by dealer to cover it for the winter, after they quoted a respray at £270. Knowing my luck, the gritters and traffic will chip it again so I'll have the respray done in the spring. ...

Mine too.

It's got two stone chips on the right wing, one on the bonnet and two chips in the wind screen.

I thought SOUL RED paint had more paint lairs on it. If it gets a bit too windy it will be in a shade of grey primer

And don't follow a gritter or it'll be a new shade.... polkadot !!  ;)

Whatever car you have these days, the water based paint is very easily chipped compared to the oil based paints previously used. That's environmental advances for you....
