Not sure whether or not you made mention of battery disconnection in another post or anything of similar lines but in today's edition of one of our most popular motoring magazines over here they printed an article regarding battery removal. By all accounts battery removal should be left to the dealer as they have the equipment to memorize all the settings (what Mazda term Memory Saver according to the article) for the sliding roof, electric windows, tyre pressure monitoring, Start-Stop and all things to do with the MZR - radio and telephone etc. It is mandatory for automatic vehicles according to the article. The article also states that the whole process of battery removal, refitting and reinstalling all the settings from the Memory Saves takes approx 18mins.
Of course you may already know all this so kindly disregard if that is the case. Just thought I'd post it as it was a featured article as already said.
