64 plate CX5 Sport Nav with Sat Nav Problems

Hi.

I'm hoping you can help me on this.

CX5 is a great car, really pleased with it for the last year but recently the sat nav has been continually losing its signal then reconnecting so the map goes crazy spinning around and it stops showing the speed.

Worse than that though is that we were in France recently and it completely froze for about 20 minutes a couple of times before eventually coming back on.

I haven't noticed  if its been happening since day one as it really only got my attention when I had no nav in France !

Also I don't know if its coincidence but it seems to happen when the weathers bad but that's never stopped any of my other nav systems from working.

I understand my car has the older nav version where theres an SD card.
I took it to the dealer who did an update to the SD card but its failed again in the week since then.

Anyone else had this and know of a solution ?
