If your Mazda is still under warranty, PLEASE check if when you play music using a USB stick that when you restart the ignition, the music doesn't keep starting at the first track. If it is, book it in with your dealer and get a free new Bluetooth module fitted.
By the way, you need to check it with a USB 2.0 stick of no more than 8Gb as that's all Mazda have tested the units to (still good enough for 1500 tunes!).
I found this out one month after my warranty expired and Mazda are insisting I contribute 30% of the cost, which is around £600 in total. So I would need to cough up around £200 for a defect that the car has had since new.
I'm considering going to Trading Standards, but can't believe that Mazda UK has kept this very quiet, and now they are so mean that they won't pay for the work just one month out of warranty, and yes, the car has been regularly serviced by their dealers.
Edit :
Thank you for joining the forum. As you can see I have merged your posting into an already exsisting topic. Unfortunately this is not new, we have know of this problem for sometime. Read through the postings above, they may help you when you confront Mazda.
