In the old days, resetting the TPMS mean't pressing a button.
Now there is no button!
According to the new manual:
If you or someone other than your dealer changes tyres, you or someone else can undertake the steps for TPMS to complete the ID signal code registration.
1.  After tyres have been changed, switch the ignition ON, then back to ACC or OFF.
2.  Wait for about 15 minutes.
3.  After about 15 minutes, drive the vehicle at a speed of at least 25 km/h (16 mph) for 10 minutes and the tyre pressure sensor ID signal code will be registered automatically.
NOTE
If the vehicle is driven within about 15 minutes of changing tyres, the tyre pressure monitoring system warning light will flash because the sensor ID signal code would not have been registered. If this happens, park the vehicle for about 15 minutes, after which the sensor ID signal code will register upon driving the vehicle for 10 minutes.
Is this a retrograde step?
Presumably if the dealer does this, as recommended, it will cost an arm and a leg.

The problem with the old system is that it measures rolling resistance not pressure which is no longer allowed.  If you put wheels on with the right sensors in, it will find them but even if you do need to go through the process, it’s all documented. Why would you need the dealer involved?

The 'old' system had a flaw - as Anchorman says it works on rolling resistance, and it must also be axle specific since the pressures are different front/rear.  Therefore if both of your fronts, or both of your rears, or all four, are low then the system wouldn't know and you wouldn't get a warning.

Shame it doesn't have feature of many other cars, to enable driver settings to display the
pressures in all 4 wheels; I did post an image of it on my previous car (to show an example), but Admin removed as it breached some ridiculous rule.
