Hi all
Link to map http://infotainment.mazdahandsfree.com/navigation-updatemymaps?language=en-EU
Double click on Mazda Toolbox and it will update automatically. Note that I don't know what the improvements are. (If any).

I've been trying to connect to the Naviextras update server all week without success. Has anyone else been able to connect?

The maps are free for the first 3 years.
The internet is a huge dumpster. You have to look hard to find anything useful.

Can't say I am overly impressed with Mazdas efforts with satnav. It took me nearly two hours to install the latest version maps. Checking the sd card in the car, I see that a flyover in Liverpool. Churchill Way, which was demolished last year, is still showing. Not to be trusted to show you the way home.

Update went flawlessly. Took some 30 mins (Mazda server downloads @ some 40---50 Mbps, but your download speed depends on your internet connection), and another 30 mins to install (this depends on the R/W speed of your computer and the used SD card).
R/W speeds can be increased by using a better quality SD card, just clone your old one to a better one.
Using a better SD also speeds up loading nav upon starting your vehicle.

Is anyone else having problems with the mazda toobox? I have tried on 2 PC, one with Win 7 pro and the other with Win 10 Pro.
On both, I start the toolbox, it checks for updates, then opens to where I have to agree with the license agreement, but I cannot scroll down in order to activate the Agree button and click it.
The cookie acceptance window pops up, but I get the same result whatever cookie option I go for.
Thanks for any help,
Andrew

You have been lucky. No matter how clever you are at downloading the update, if the map info is out of date it's a bit useless wouldn't you say?

Mazda use Here maps. Sign up to the Map Creator and report the missing flyover plus other errors you may see. HERE Map Creator

I registered with Here Maps and their map shown online is already up to date for the ex-Churchill Way flyover in Liverpool. I checked again on my in car Mazda satnav and the flyover is still there. As a double check I put the sd card into my laptop and it informed me that I have the current update installed, July 2020, and if I want any updates in future I will have to pay for them. I don't think I will bother.
