Auto climate not effective
« on: March 29, 2019, 10:41:59 pm »
Today it was quite warm. I have a 2018 model and I was expecting the fans to run faster, but even turning the temp down to 15.5 it was still on eco AC and fans speed on 2 bars.

I ended up upping the fan speed and turning off eco. Anyone else had this?

It did all it needed to do as the temps today have been around a similar level.  Dont worry, when youget one of those hot days where the heat hits you when you get in, it will act quite differently.

It will go back to eco if you leave it.

Def not right. I get coolish air on no more than 3 bars on a hot day. Only way is to set it for 15 and control than fan manually. I am used to set and forget on all my previous cars ( Mondeo, Mazda 6 and Octavia).

I agree that the climate control is rubbish compared to other cars i have had yeti,tiguan,Q5....... they all blew icy cold air on auto... not limited to 15.5c and that eco mode i want to kill it . 8)
I think that not having a solar windscreen does not help matters either you can relly feel the heat coming through!
