Nice explanatory video but considering all the faffing about with screwing the bottle on in addition to the drips, wouldn't it be far easier placing your basic find-everywhere funnel into the filler neck and pour directly into that in the same way as we used to fill up with petrol having run out lol. My vehicle doesn't use AdBlue so of course I am speaking without any direct knowledge and basing the above only on the fact that the AdBlue doesn't need to be topped up every five minutes.

Yes it would.  That special bottle stops you overfilling it as it stops when the neck is full but you could just pour it in.  Some people think its a dealer job.

I've just treated myself to 4 litres of Redex Adblue from Tesco for £6.50 when I happened to be in there. I could have probably got it cheaper from Eurocarparts but when you factor in fuel/time travelling to either Nottingham or Derby fighting through roadworks on the A52 to Derby or jams in Nottingham it was easier to buy local. No special bottle but will be careful.

My indicator is staying at 100%, will this reduce, and at what mileage?

I’ve added 2 lots of 2 litres to mine. Once when nearly new and once when I made that video.  Both times, the indicator showed full.

Did you get the 2 litre bottle from a physical shop or mail order? I’ve already got a 6 litre pack with a pouring spout but that bottle looks a much better way to fill with no spillage. I’ve found them online but just wondering if anyone actually stocks them in a shop?

My Adblue level has only just reduced to 80% at 6,200 total miles from new.

It was actually a truck auto factor.  I was in there with a mate but Eurocarparts do them too.  This one look like a pull bottle.

Add me to the add Adblue club.  Just poured in 4 litres as on 80% and now showing 100% full. Miles left still stays at 9650. I presume the system will recalculate once I've driven around a bit. Did find another 4 litres of Redex Adblue at Tesco now on offer for £3.25. Will come in useful next time I need to top up.

Mine still says 12xxx. I wonder if it’s worth pressing the reset button?  Don’t know if that works it or not.  I get the feeling that the level measuring device in the tank is a crude device.

In the Owner's Reference Guide on 6-10,6-11 it mentions the percentage will increase but nothing about the mileage left. No error messages/lights and the level has increased to 100% so no need for concern (hopefully).
