Converting a left hand drive - rear fog lights
« on: December 10, 2022, 08:42:59 pm »
Hello All

Thanks for the add to the forum.

So I've got a 1 year old cx-5 I've brought in from Ukraine (don't ask!).

I've already changed the speedo to Mph and now looking at the rear fog light. I need to move it from the left to the right. I'm thinking to replace the dummy/deflector on the right with a regular lamp unit. And also snip the existing cable that goes to the currently operational left fog light and extend it with some 1mm to the the new lamp on the right. So the existing one would go dark and the new one would light up whenever the fog lights are turned on the dash. Could that work?

I realise its probably not a common thing but just in case anyone else has done this or knows how to do it I'd love to hear from you.
