What's really annoying is I had connection problems with my last car, with a Galaxy Y brand new on contract.
The phone was on the compatibility list so should have connected every time, not 9 out of ten times.
So I borrowed my daughters HTC wildfire S, which connected every time as expected, but didn't receive text messages.
When the contract ran out I took a HTC desire 510, which again connected every time for the year used with the car, and also downloaded texts and emails. With that success I them bought a second HTC 510, and again it worked every time over the year with the car.
Now onto the second CX-5, different system I believe, but my 510 is on the compatibility list.
Not only that I tested the phone on a 2015 test car, it paired and connected as you would expect with no problems.
So on the day I pick up my new 2015 car the salesman attempts to get the phone to pair.
After around 5 attempts it finally pairs and connects so ten minutes or more trying.
Only to fail connecting after a few days with intermittent connecting and failure to connect every since.
And after 3 trips to the dealer its still doing the same. For some reason Mazda appear to be reluctant to replace any part, all I've had over the hours the cars been in the garage is two software updates.
Dealer says he will now have to ask Mazda how to proceed. I'm not happy, after working as an electrical technician for 25 years I would be looking for a new job if I hadn't at least changed a part by now.
